Block, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Engineer focused on Oracle Fusion to lead finance‑tech transformation.

You will own architecture across FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP, and drive AI‑first workflows, data modeling, and enterprise LLM integrations with in‑house apps.

Collaborate with Accounting, Data Engineering, Product teams to deliver scalable, automated financial processes and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-First Development using AI tools to accelerate delivery velocity.
• Architect scalable financial solutions across Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP for complex accounting operations.
• Build intelligent integrations between accounting systems, data lakes, and internal apps using SQL, PL/SQL, REST, SOAP, JSON.
• Operational excellence: identify inefficiencies and automate financial workflows.
• Own technical execution by translating accounting principles into scalable designs and documentation.
