Block is seeking a strategic, hands-on Systems Engineer to lead finance technology transformation. Own architecture and scaling across Oracle Fusion, in-house apps, and enterprise LLMs with an AI-first mindset.

Partner with leaders, product managers, and data engineers to deliver automated financial workflows and accelerated delivery cycles. Remote-friendly, diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle Fusion configuration, customization and support.
• Strong relational databases, SQL/PL/SQL and web services knowledge.
• End-to-end solution architecture experience in accounting data flows.
• Ability to break down complex problems and automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-First development by embedding AI tools into workflow.
• Architect scalable financial solutions across FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP.
• Build and support integrations between accounting systems and data lakes.
• Identify inefficiencies and automate financial workflows at scale.
• Translate accounting principles into concrete, scalable designs and docs.
