Job summary

AFL is seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst focused on Finance to join our global enterprise from a remote location in the United States. You will work with the Director of ERP & Business Applications to transform financial operations using Oracle EBS solutions, improving compliance and efficiency across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst (R12).
• Experience configuring Oracle applications and delivering Oracle-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and tax systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITBM and SDLC methodologies.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Understand, evaluate, and document finance processes (AR, AP, GL, SLA, Tax, Audit).
• Assess complex processes and break down into subprocesses to communicate solutions.
• Drive change through business process redesign.
• Validate and document business needs; identify gaps vs out-of-the-box solutions.
• Guide improvements in processes and software via data analysis.
• Design and implement Oracle solutions for financial reporting, invoicing, tax compliance (Vertex), and electronic billing (Billtrust).
• Collaborate with finance and accounting to meet regulatory requirements.
• Support internal audit and JSOX compliance with documentation and controls.
• Lead workshops to gather requirements and translate to Oracle specs.
• Develop and execute test plans for financial modules.
• Manage financial enhancement projects using ServiceNow ITBM.
• Provide training and support to finance users on Oracle functionality.
• Maintain documentation for financial processes to support audits.
