Job summary

CEdge Inc. in Saint Louis, MO seeks an Oracle DBA / Spatial Engineer to own the database layer of the TMS contract. You will administer Oracle 19c, manage Spatial geometry, develop PL/SQL, and coordinate with ArcGIS integration to ensure performance and reliability.

Remote/on-site as needed, MoDOT background check applies. The role supports large-scale data assets (millions of records) and works with .NET teams on data-model changes to keep systems robust.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Oracle database administration experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Oracle Spatial database experience.
• Minimum 1 year of PL/SQL development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with location referencing applications.
• Experience with Oracle 19c or higher.
• Ability to pass MoDOT background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Oracle 19c+ production database and perform OS upgrades, patching, and configuration management to maintain security and performance.
• Execute and monitor the nightly Travelways refresh; validate changes and resync tables to Oracle as required.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions and resolve error reports within SLA.
• Maintain Oracle Spatial geometry tables, indexes, and materialized views and support data quality for Travelway applications.
• Support nightly refresh system and modify apps/packages/views as needed; maintain triggers.
• Coordinate with .NET developers on data-model changes and assess impact before structural changes.
