Job summary

James Madison University (JMU) seeks an Integrations Developer to support Oracle HCM, Finance, and Student systems, with initial focus on Oracle HCM and ERP/EPM. The role designs, develops, implements, monitors, maintains, and supports integrations between Oracle Cloud and university systems, collaborating with offices, vendors, and partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Remote work is eligible; the ideal candidate will stay current with Oracle Cloud and integration technologies to help

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise system integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Professional experience with Oracle Cloud applications including HCM, ERP, EPM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, or Student systems.
• Demonstrated experience gathering business and technical requirements and translating them into effective integration solutions.
• Professional experience with integration technologies, APIs, web services, data exchange processes, or middleware platforms.
• Professional experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, monitor, maintain and support Oracle Cloud integrations.
• Collaborate with business offices, technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to define data exchange requirements.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions.
• Gather and analyze requirements, develop and test integrations, troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with Oracle Cloud, OIC, API technologies and security best practices.
