Job summary

James Madison University (JMU) seeks an Integration Developer to support Oracle HCM, Finance, and Student applications with a focus on Oracle Cloud integrations via OIC. The role aligns with a large-scale Reengineering Madison initiative and aims for the Summer 2027 go-live.

You will design, develop, test, monitor, and maintain integrations, collaborating with business offices, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Remote work is eligible.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, EPM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, or Student systems.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
• Experience with APIs, web services, data exchange, or middleware.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience partnering with diverse business users and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, monitor, maintain and support integrations between Oracle Cloud apps and university systems.
• Collaborate with offices, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define data exchange requirements and secure, scalable integrations.
• Explore and apply Oracle Cloud, OIC, API tech and security best practices; stay current with integration capabilities.
• Provide ongoing operational support and maintain documentation.
• Knowledge of Boomi and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is helpful as those systems are maintained until replaced.
