Job summary

James Madison University (JMU) is seeking an Integrations Developer to design and implement integrations across Oracle HCM, ERP, and Student systems as part of Reengineering Madison. This role supports the University’s Oracle Cloud and API-enabled ecosystems with a focus on secure, scalable data exchanges.

The position collaborates with business offices, technical teams, and vendors; familiarity with OIC, Boomi, and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering Oracle Integrations with OIC.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, EPM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, or Student systems.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Experience with APIs, web services, data exchange and middleware.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience partnering with business users, technical staff, vendors and stakeholders.
• Ability to learn new technologies and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and monitor enterprise integrations across Oracle Cloud apps.
• Collaborate with offices and partners to define data exchange needs and secure integration solutions.
• Gather requirements, build and test integrations, troubleshoot and optimize performance.
• Maintain documentation and provide ongoing operational support.
• Stay current with Oracle Cloud, OIC, APIs, security best practices and emerging tech.
