Job summary

The Baer Group seeks an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for a 7-month federal remote project. You will migrate legacy .NET functionality to Oracle APEX, build pages and UI components, and implement secure, scalable PL/SQL logic while collaborating with Agile teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on APEX development, REST API and ORDS integration experience, and strong SQL/PL-SQL skills. Remote work is supported from the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, APEX pages, dynamic actions, interactive reports/grids, and page processes.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, ORDS services, and backend data sources.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI customization.
• Experience with application debugging, SQL performance tuning, and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle APEX pages, forms, interactive reports, grids, dynamic actions, and workflows.
• Migrate legacy .NET functionality to Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, validations, and application processes.
• Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs, ORDS services, and backend data sources.
• Collaborate with data/ETL teams to validate data and optimize SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance, security, and user interactions.
