Albert & Mackenzie, a respected California workers’ compensation defense firm, seeks a Law Clerk for remote-friendly employment. You will assist attorneys, draft reports, and summarize case law while gaining exposure to all phases of defense litigation.

The ideal candidate is planning to take the July 2027 California Bar Exam, has passed MPRE, and will begin in September 2027. Remote work is allowed, with several office locations available for in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• A law degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox or other shared cloud storage.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with lien claimants
• Navigate a case management system
• Write reports for clients
• Summarize recent case law and updates
• Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys
