Job summary

Wisconsin Public Service Corp in Green Bay is seeking a Control Room Supervisor: Hydro & Peaking Generation (Remote Operations Supervisor) to oversee hydroelectric and peaking assets across Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The role involves on-site work in Green Bay with a rotating 12-hour shift and additional training/relief shifts.

The position is part of a defined job family and requires 1+ year in safety/compliance, SCADA/HMI experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED or GED.
• 1+ years experience with analytical and methodical decision-making.
• 1+ years in safety & compliance environment.
• 1+ years experience with SCADA/HMI or web-based applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must satisfy CIP-004 security requirements and obtain NERC Operator Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Remotely operate/control, monitor, manage and dispatch hydroelectric stations and peaking generators.
• Coordinate flood operations and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
• Provide input on strategies for dispatch of hydro/remote assets.
• Monitor security systems and document abnormal activities; coordinate with security and law enforcement if needed.
• Prepare reports and maintain logs; respond to SCADA failures and callout staff.
• Provide directions to site staff per union contracts.
• Coordinate with ESO, EDC, and Power Traders for safe operations.
