Job summary

Defense Human Resources Activity is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to conduct analyses of Department Human Capital programs, policies, and processes. The role designs, develops, and implements mathematical, statistical, and econometric models to forecast human capital needs across the Department.

The incumbent will develop new workforce forecasting approaches, enhance HR analytical systems, and ensure accuracy in models used for national-level workforce planning and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Specialized HR analytics and workforce forecasting expertise.
• Ability to design and implement mathematical and econometric models for human capital analysis.
• Experience with data visualization to present complex HR data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements mathematical, statistical, and econometric HR models and forecasting techniques.
• Develops workforce forecasting methods and improves HR analytical systems for accuracy.
• Constructs time-series HR datasets and performs advanced HR analyses for complex, high-impact issues.
• Assists in operating and maintaining workforce analysis and forecasting systems and coordinates HR data updates.
