Job summary

Terrestris seeks a Senior Statistician / Operations Research Analyst to support OHARNG HRO Data Analytics. This on-site role focuses on HRMS data, modeling, and resource optimization to improve funding decisions and workforce outcomes in Ohio.

Key responsibilities include building dashboards, forecasting personnel strength, and presenting findings to leadership. Requires extensive experience in statistics, analytics, and federal program knowledge, with security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• 15 years minimum in advanced financial and statistical analysis.
• Proven predictive, trend, lifecycle forecasting, queueing, and optimization modeling.
• Expertise in workforce behavior modeling for government/ARNG environments.
• Strong Excel (VBA/Macros) and complex formulas.
• SQL data extraction with Python or C++ for dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commitment, obligation, and disbursement data to inform funding priorities and fiscal execution improvements.
• Develop dashboards tracking workforce efficiency, task timelines, and KPIs.
• Build predictive and optimization models forecasting personnel strength, accessions, retention, promotions, and attrition.
• Validate statistical models through hypothesis testing and reduce standard error to 5% or lower.
• Maintain dashboards displaying personnel assignments, career progression, and workforce distribution.
• Prepare analytical reports and leadership briefings on staffing and resource allocation.
• Summarize monthly OHARNG briefings highlighting policy and funding decisions.
