Job summary

Careerscape is partnering with a fast-growing e-commerce client to recruit a remote Operations Generalist. The role is a true jack-of-all-trades, moving between order processing, inventory support, and customer escalations to help the team stay organized as the business scales.

Day-to-day work includes untangling shipping issues, updating SOPs, and collaborating across sales and fulfillment. This is a unique launching pad to learn the guts of an e-commerce operation and grow into specialist or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities at once.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
• A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude toward problem solving.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Interest in e-commerce, logistics, or operations as a career path.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
• Prior internship, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations across order processing, inventory tracking, and fulfillment coordination.
• Monitor key operational dashboards and flag issues before they become problems.
• Assist with vendor and shipping carrier communications to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Help document and improve standard operating procedures as the business scales.
• Respond to internal requests from sales, customer service, and warehouse teams.
• Track and reconcile basic operational data in spreadsheets and internal tools.
• Assist with onboarding new tools, vendors, or process changes.
• Help coordinate special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Maintain organized records and files across shared operational systems.
