Roles and responsibilities :
- Serve as the central point of contact for all field operations.
- Act as a liaison between various field teams during emergency and abnormal operating conditions, including activation of the Incident Command System.
- Possess basic knowledge of production, completions, workover, and drilling operations.
- Monitor Apache’s onshore assets through surveillance and perform root cause analysis using Cygnet and Foresite.
- Continuously monitor production facilities and wells to prioritize pump operations by Lease Operators.
- Monitor alarms, participate in alarm management and rationalization, and adhere to the “Pump by Priority” program.
- Operate control room equipment, including auto-chokes and automated systems, and troubleshoot abnormalities to minimize safety risks and economic losses.
- Utilize Cygnet and ForeSite for well optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Dispatch Lease Operators during issues, coordinate with field personnel, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Input and track maintenance work-orders via K-2, and follow up until issues are resolved.
- Maintain effective communication with all field personnel and provide daily updates through Teams and reports.
- Coordinate third-party trucking for fluid delivery and transfer, ensuring proper disposal respecting contents of each truck.
- Organize and coordinate services for field teams, including construction, drilling, completions, and flowback.
- Initiate work orders and distribute field service orders via various communication channels.
- Act as a liaison during emergencies and activate the Incident Command System as needed.
- Develop reports for communication between teams using software like Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, GIS, or SAP.
- Operate in-field camera systems for security and HSE monitoring, and manage gate access remotely.
- Monitor field cameras at key locations to ensure safety and efficiency of operations.
- Schedule crude oil pickups using Cygnet, maintaining proper tank levels, and review alarms via SCADA.
