Southern New Hampshire University’s Learn To Be program is seeking an Operations Assistant to help ensure students are matched with tutors promptly. You will collaborate with the Learn To Be Operations team and use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to draft messages, organize data, and build small tools.

The position is remote nationwide, requires 15–20 hours per week, and prioritizes students through work-study.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in SNHU degree program and eligible for Work-Study
• Experience using AI tools to build real solutions (apps, automations, workflows)
• Clear, friendly written communication; comfortable calling parents and volunteers
• Access to internet and a working webcam; ability to work 15–20 hours weekly
• Consent to a DOJ Dru Sjodin Sex Offender Database Background check

Responsibilities

• Keep track of students waiting for tutors from partner organizations
• Diagnose why a pairing hasn’t occurred and fix it
• Follow up with families and tutors by phone, email and text to start pairings
• Use AI tools to speed up work: draft messages, clean data, build small tools
• Communicate workflow issues to the Operations team and help implement fixes
