Job summary

Fortified Health Security is seeking an Operational Security Manager to provide operational and technical leadership for cybersecurity service delivery across client environments, focusing on healthcare and regulated settings.

You will supervise security analysts, coordinate security workstreams, and ensure initiatives align with risk-management objectives. This role partners with PMs, security architects, GRC, privacy, IT, and vendors to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years managing security personnel.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• CISSP or CISM certification required.
• 4 Year Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cybersecurity operations across client environments.
• Supervise security analysts and engineers; assign resources across workstreams.
• Oversee vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation coordination.
• Coordinate incident response activities and post-incident reviews.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance activities and policy development.
• Oversee managed security service delivery and client security program execution.
• Coordinate data protection activities including DLP, data classification, and eDiscovery support.
• Develop and report cybersecurity metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
