Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. You will own the end-to-end platform lifecycle, from provisioning and hardening to workload onboarding and ongoing operations, ensuring security-first posture.

The ideal candidate brings deep OpenShift and Kubernetes expertise, strong Linux fundamentals, and a focus on developer enablement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years operating container platforms in production, with at least 3 years on Red Hat OpenShift.
Deep Kubernetes/OpenShift internals knowledge (operators, CRDs, RBAC, networking).
Strong Linux administration, networking, performance tuning, troubleshooting.
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Helm for IaC and automation.
CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift/Kubernetes with Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go; monitoring, logging, tracing basics.
OpenShift security practices, image supply chain hardening, and incident handling.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-prem and cloud.
Own end-to-end lifecycle: provisioning, hardening, workload onboarding, operations.
Collaborate with security, application, and infra teams to deliver a stable platform.
Drive continuous improvement and developer enablement for faster delivery.
