Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Remediation Engineer to support environmental investigation, remediation, and restoration projects under CERCLA and RCRA. The role spans design, regulatory documentation, field implementation, and coordination with clients and agencies.

The successful candidate will work with engineers, scientists, geologists, and project managers, performing tasks independently while contributing to multidisciplinary teams; strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering or related field with relevant environmental experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT with progress toward PE licensure.
Experience with CERCLA and RCRA regulatory frameworks.
Experience evaluating remedial technologies and contaminant types.

Responsibilities

Develop project plans and deliverables, including PMPs, QAPPs, HASPs, RI/FS reports, PPs, RODs and design packages.
Support pilot/ treatability studies for remedial technologies and report findings.
Design remediation approaches and cost estimates for sites and projects.
Prepare technical and cost proposals and bases of estimate.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and regulators to support execution.
Work with teams and comply with safety and environmental requirements.
