Job summary

Evernorth Direct Health, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care in an employer-based setting with opportunities for episodic care and chronic disease management.

You will work with a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care, oversee tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate with HR for employee wellness programs. A valid NP license, DEA, and EHR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified NP program.
• Active and unrestricted NP license in respective state.
• Minimum of 3 or more years of NP experience in internal medicine or family practice.
• Ability to practice independently in respective state.
• DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
• Electronic Health Record experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Primary Care treatment in an Employer-based setting.
• Deliver episodic care with low acuity urgent care.
• Oversee extended episodic acute care for limited chronic illness/injury.
• Co-manage chronic conditions with outside primary care when not PCP.
• Oversee CLIA-waived tests, dispense Rx medications, and lab oversight.
• Collaborate with onsite staff for biometric screening and wellness education.
• Travel medicine recommendations and immunizations with training as applicable.
• Direct one-on-one health coaching and refer patients to wellness programs.
• Partner with HR/Benefits to improve employee health.
