Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead electrical and automation projects across ADS Manufacturing.

You will design, upgrade, and install electrical control systems, write PLC/HMI programs, perform FATs, and mentor junior engineers while traveling up to 35% in the US and Canada. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years' experience in designing control systems, and a strong background in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably tied to the plastics industry.
• 7+ years of designing electrical control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical upgrades and new installations.
• Designs, coordinates, and executes electrical and automation projects.
• Provide startup training on Controls for operators and maintenance.
• Mentor other Controls Engineers.
• Travel in US and Canada, anticipated 35% travel.
• Validate FATs and acceptance testing with OEMs.
