Fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum.

Responsibilities

Deliver specific middle school social studies course content in an online environment.
Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery.
Monitor student progress through Stride K12's learning management system.
Maintain the grade book and make student placement and promotion decisions.
Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress.
Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
Establish positive rapport with families and communicate with students and parents/learning coaches.
Support learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues.
Travel approximately once per month and/or 20% of the time for professional development, student testing, and school requirements.
