Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and meeting Highly Qualified Teacher standards.
• Six months of student teaching experience required.
• Clear background check requirements must be met.
• Ability to maintain certification and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Experience teaching in virtual environments and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in an online environment with high expectations and regular attendance.
• Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests and monitor progress.
• Conduct synchronous teaching min. 15 hours per week.
• Provide asynchronous support via email and planning learning objectives.
• Collaborate with families/learning coaches and other teachers.
• Submit grades, maintain records, and generate progress reports.
• Travel to testing sites and participate in required school activities.
