Job summary

Stride OHVA is seeking an online High School CTE Engineering Teacher (9-12) to deliver state-certified content in a remote setting. You will monitor student progress in the LMS and coordinate with families to advance learning and postsecondary goals.

The role requires occasional travel for state testing and school functions, with a focus on personalized support and adherence to OHVA policies. A valid Ohio certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 months of student teaching experience.
• Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in the subject area.
• Ability to obtain Ohio certification and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of student progress and attendance with high expectations.
• Prepares students for high-stakes standardized tests.
• Conducts live synchronous teaching, minimum 15 hours per week.
• Asynchronously supports objectives, plans learning goals, and uses data.
• Collaborates with teachers and learning coaches to support OHVA students.
