Job summary

aoncology is seeking a Remote RN Care Coordinator to provide disease-specific management and symptom-focused care for oncology patients. You will collaborate with the oncologist and clinic team, document in the EMR in real time, and support patients' treatment journeys from home.

The role requires an RN license, 5+ years total nursing experience with oncology exposure, strong communication, data entry, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Education: A graduate of an accredited RN Nursing program required.
• Previous Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of oncology experience; minimum of 5 years of overall nursing experience.
• Office experience: Prior experience with customer service and professional phone etiquette required.
• Core Capabilities: Attention to detail, critical thinking, ability to work independently from home, good communication, data entry, Excel, multi-application proficiency.
• Certifications/Licenses: Active RN license in state of employment, CPR; OCN preferred.
• Travel: Fort Myers area for yearly meeting.
• Standard Workdays/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm; Hawaii clinics coverage may require Hawaii business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide disease-specific management and oncology care coordination.
• Collaborate with oncologist and clinic staff to assist in managing and coordinating patient care.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR in real time.
• Proactively make symptom management calls for patients undergoing treatment.
• Support the Care Coordination department and the mission of the Company.
