Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a RCM Shared Service Supervisor to oversee daily medical billing and collections at a partnered practice. You will apply expertise in ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding, maintain current knowledge of insurance authorizations and coverage rules, and ensure KPIs are met while delivering high-quality service to clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of oncology/hospital billing terminology and coding practices.
• Experience with payer policies, denials, and appeals workflows.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in auditing and posting charges when necessary.
• Monitor accounts receivable for all Oncology services provided to patients.
• Oversee authorizations training staff and maintaining up-to-date coverage guidelines.
• Manage coverage and benefit workflows including triaging insurance code requests for maintenance of the practice management system.
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding insurance and patient balances related to shared service lines.
• Review and interpret insurance policies and regulations for compliance in billing and collection.
