Job summary

The US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities is seeking a Full Time Remote Medical Records Coder to join a fully remote team. This position codes medical charts using ICD-9 and CPT-4 guidelines, abstracts clinical data, and ensures compliance with the US Oncology standards.

Pay ranges from $25 to $32 hourly based on experience. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete a medical record technology course, and at least one year of coding experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of coding medical experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding procedures desirable.
• Remote work environment and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Abstracts relevant clinical and demographic information from records.
• Assigns ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes according to guidelines.
• Records diagnostics and procedure codes with accuracy.
• Requests missing information from physicians when needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical information.
