Job summary

Merck is seeking an US Oncology Medical Affairs Field Medical Alignment Director (FMAD) to lead strategic alignment across the oncology portfolio, working with USMA leadership to drive execution and lifecycle management. The role requires advanced healthcare doctoral degree and at least 5 years in field/medical affairs with oncology experience.

Qualifications

Advanced healthcare/science doctoral degree (e.g., M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D.) is required.
Minimum of 5 years field/medical affairs experience, including leadership with a HQ role for at least 2 years.
Minimum of 3 years working in oncology in the relevant therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

Influence field medical execution to strategy planning through collaboration with various leaders to ensure prioritization, implementation, and execution of USMA Goals/Objectives.
Represent US TA Medical Affairs at departmental or cross-functional meetings impacting the full TA teams.
Develop and lead implementation strategies across product life cycles and maximize synergies with Scientific Leaders.
