Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Scientist - Oncology for a remote position in the United States. You will work with the Medical Director to develop medical plans and to coordinate input from outside experts, ensuring high-quality data reviews and timely risk analyses across trials.

You will perform regular and ad-hoc data reviews, author data queries, and support safety and efficacy assessments. The role requires strong collaboration with study teams and adherence to GCP/ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical data review and data visualization.
• Ability to analyze risks and data patterns in clinical data.
• Strong written and oral communication for medical reviews and queries.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and coordinate input from outside experts.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical reviews of data listings and visualizations; identifies risks and trends.
• Authors medical data queries and responses; supports query closure with Medical Director.
• Assists in patient profiles review and scientific reviews of study data.
• Partners with Medical Directors for data review meetings and safety review meetings; prepares slides as needed.
• Manages project scope, objectives, and timelines; interfaces with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Collaborates with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, and Project Management to identify data integrity and subject safety risks.
