Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist - Oncology for a remote-based position primarily serving the United States. You will work with Medical Directors to develop medical plans and coordinate input from external experts to support clinical programs.

The role requires ongoing medical data reviews, analysis of data for risks and trends, and preparation of reviews and summaries. You will collaborate with study teams across Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Pharmacovigilance to ensure

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and coordinate input from outside experts to prepare medical plans.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization; analyzes data for risks and trends.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews responses, approves query closures with Medical Director.
• Assists in patient profiles review and scientific review of study data, protocol deviation review, and Medical Review Summary when needed.
• Collaborates with Medical Directors for data review meetings and safety review meetings including slide preparation.
• Manages project scope, milestones and timelines; interfaces with internal teams, customers, and vendors for medical data review and eligibility review.
• Attends trusted process meetings and participates in audits; develops understanding of protocol designs and disease terminology.
• Adheres to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GCPs and enterprise policies.
