Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to join our HR team in Tallahassee, FL, with remote work available. You will manage the onboarding journey for new staff, coordinate documentation, I-9s, and background checks, and keep candidate data current in the ATS.

You will also partner with Talent Acquisition to optimize the onboarding experience. In this temporary role, you will monitor communication channels, prepare onboarding materials, and generate weekly readiness dashboards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in HR or related field.
• Familiarity with HR databases and candidate management systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
• Ability to handle data confidentially and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Interact with candidates daily via email, phone, and text to support onboarding.
• Monitor Zendesk and shared inboxes and manage onboarding data.
• Follow up on onboarding experience and suggest program enhancements.
• Manage candidate data in the ATS and complete onboarding forms.
• Coordinate background checks and fingerprinting, badges, and tech needs.
• Prepare onboarding details and maintain ongoing candidate communication.
• Produce weekly dashboards on readiness using Smartsheet.
• Suggest program changes to improve retention and engagement.
