Job summary

Trulieve seeks an Onboarding Coordinator to manage the on-boarding process and new hire journey from start to finish. You will apply HR best practices and support a smooth employee experience.

The role requires 1–2 years of HR or related experience, familiarity with HR databases and ATS, strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background screening. The position is in Tallahassee, FL with some remote options.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience within HR or a related field.
• Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA and WV).

Responsibilities

• Daily interactions with candidates via email, phone, text to support onboarding.
• Monitor Zendesk and shared email inboxes.
• Follow up with new employees to evaluate onboarding experience and suggest improvements.
• Candidate data management within the ATS system and onboarding forms.
• Coordinate background checks and fingerprinting processes.
• Prepare onboarding details and coordinate badges and tech needs.
• Produce weekly dashboards on candidate readiness in Smartsheet.
• Suggest program changes to improve retention and engagement of new hires.
