Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking an experienced On‑Site Construction Manager to support critical telecom facility projects. The CM will be embedded on site for the project duration, overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring safety, quality, and client compliance.

The role acts as the primary field liaison between trade contractors and Salas O’Brien, coordinating with project teams, clients, and vendors. Remote work with travel to projects across the country is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in the construction industry or as an engineering consultant.
• Proficiency in using engineering tools and software to develop project schedules and budgets; manage meeting notes.
• Adaptability to work on various projects and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities and site logistics.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, safety plans and client standards.
• Lead field communications between contractors, Salas O’Brien and the client.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, vendors, contractors, landlords and authorities.
