Job summary

Zappsec Technologies Inc. is seeking an Identity Architect to lead a large-scale IAM modernization program, consolidating workforce identity onto Okta and retiring legacy identity infrastructure.

You will own the target-state architecture, guide a delivery team across multiple workstreams, and present designs to senior stakeholders in a client-facing role.

The role requires deep Okta expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive complex migrations from inception to execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in identity and access management.
• At least 5+ years architecting Okta at enterprise scale.
• Deep knowledge of Okta Workforce Identity, Identity Governance, and Workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
• Experience replacing legacy IAM platforms (e.g., MIM).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, and RADIUS.
• Ability to design target-state architecture and guide multi-workstream migrations.
• Client-facing role requiring executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state identity on Okta including SSO, MFA, and adaptive access.
• Design governance model on Okta Identity Governance with access requests and certs.
• Automate JML lifecycle using Okta Workflows linked to HR records.
• Lead replacement of MIM including provisioning logic and data flows.
• Plan migration of SAML and OIDC apps to Okta.
• Modernize legacy LDAP and RADIUS auth.
• Integrate Okta with AD and Entra ID for Microsoft 365 use cases.
• Produce architecture deliverables and migration sequencing plans.
• Review engineering work for alignment with target architecture.
• Identify risks and present options with recommendations.
