Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an OIPA Configuration Developer to design, develop, and maintain insurance policy administration solutions. You will work in an Agile environment, configuring OIPA, implementing business logic, and building integration services with REST, SOAP, and AS Files.

Responsibilities include production support, collaboration with teams, and documentation. Prior life insurance experience and Agile practices are preferred; remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of OIPA configuration (rules engine, XML).
• Minimum two years of XSLT, SOAP, REST, AS Files, Git.
• Experience in life insurance preferred.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain OIPA v11/v12 using Rules Palette or Equisoft Design.
• Develop business logic using OIPA rules engine and XML.
• Design REST, SOAP, and AS File-based services and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and perform production support.
• Collaborate with developers to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain technical documentation.
