Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking an OFAC Sanctions Screening Analyst II to act as the primary escalation point for complex alerts and high-risk cases within the Bank’s interdiction systems.

You will review complex matches, provide guidance to junior analysts, and ensure consistent application of OFAC requirements and bank policies. You will conduct advanced investigations using internal systems, public records, and specialized resources to resolve ambiguous matches, coordinate with senior management on

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OFAC sanctions regulations, list-based programs, and interdiction principles.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills with ability to resolve complex cases.
• Strong attention to accuracy and quality in screening and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research for due diligence.
• Ability to guide junior Analysts and communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex OFAC screening alerts and high-risk cases.
• Conduct advanced investigation of escalated matches, including ownership and transaction patterns.
• Review and approve complex false positive dispositions with proper justification.
• Make final determinations on matches and coordinate regulatory actions with senior management.
• Monitor escalation queue to ensure timely resolution and regulatory deadlines.
• Collaborate with operations, relationship management, and staff on escalated matters.
