Alan Biller and Associates seeks an OCIO Associate – Paralegal to support private markets investment activities, review and coordinate investment documentation, and work with consultants, managers, custodians, and external counsel.

Requirements include a BA and Paralegal Certificate, 5+ years in investment/OCIO or law firm settings, and strong detail, organization, and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and document management systems; flexible remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate required.
• 5+ years paralegal experience in investment/OCIO/asset management or law firm.
• Experience reviewing and managing private fund documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review and coordinate execution of subscription agreements, LPAs, side letters, MFN elections, investor questionnaires, transfer docs, and management agreements.
• Review legal documentation, identify issues, and coordinate responses with counsel and external advisors.
• Assist with private fund subscriptions, closings, amendments, transfers, and redemptions.
• Maintain organized legal records for private market investments.
• Support manager onboarding and ongoing legal/documentation processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel, fund managers, custodians, and administrators.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and service providers.
• Assist with special legal/investment operations projects.
