Job summary

NOCD is seeking independently licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) and Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) in New York who are on the pathway to earning their Diagnostic Privilege (Dx P), with 1,000 of 2,000 supervised direct client hours completed. Qualified supervision will be provided to finish hours while building a caseload and gaining ERP/OCD expertise.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Masters Degree and be licensed as LMHC or LMFT in NY.
• Must qualify for New York Diagnostic Privilege with supervised hours completed to date (1,000 of 2,000).
• Graduate coursework must cover NYSED content areas and be verifiable on transcript.
• Ability to secure third-party certification via registrar/supervisor for NYSED Forms 2D and 4D.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based therapy to Members with OCD via NOCD video platform under supervised progress toward Dx Privilege.
• Manage own caseload and scheduling while maintaining timely documentation in NOCD EHR.
• Participate in regular supervision focused on diagnosis, psychotherapy, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with NOCD network to reinforce treatment decisions.
• Engage in ERP/OCD training and clinical consultation.
