Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Occupancy Planner to manage a regional portfolio of space planning projects and workplace initiatives. You will collaborate with the Occupancy Planning Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic occupancy solutions across the client portfolio.

The role emphasizes developing test fits, stack plans, and occupancy analyses, presenting findings to clients, and serving as the primary occupancy planning partner within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of occupancy planning/workplace planning experience in corporate real estate or facilities management.
• Experience developing test fits, workplace layouts, occupancy plans, and space utilization recommendations.
• Experience with office space planning in healthcare or clinical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own a regional portfolio of occupancy planning projects and workplace initiatives for an assigned client portfolio.
• Serve as the primary occupancy planning contact for stakeholders within the region.
• Build and maintain client and site stakeholder relationships, providing planning support and recommendations.
• Develop block plans, stack plans, test fits, and office space planning solutions with minimal guidance.
• Create and maintain current and forecasted stack plans.
• Analyze space utilization, occupancy, and demand data against approved plans.
• Present planning recommendations and portfolio insights to clients and stakeholders.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations through data storytelling.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support change and move management related to workplace changes and evolving workstyles.
• Maintain planning records and data within CAFM/IWMS platforms.
