Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead occupancy analytics and space planning across a designated region. The role focuses on optimizing space usage, coordinating moves, and delivering data-driven solutions to meet business needs.

You will oversee complex relocations, develop strategic options, and partner with Move Managers and CRE teams to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with corporate real estate goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate team environment.
• Experience in coordinating day-to-day service requests.
• Experience in communicating with all levels of management.
• Experience in reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design.
• Development of site occupancy plans for short term and long-term scenarios to include: supply and demand analysis, seating projections, and relocation scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests within assigned territory to maximize space efficiencies.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements and impacts to the portfolio.
• Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and other CRE team members on efforts.
• Interfaces with Client to develop options, finalize concepts and prepare final documents for client approval.
• Serves as the primary client contact for relocation requests and coordinates with Move Manager.
