Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Systems Observability Specialist to design and operate metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting platforms at scale. You will optimize signals, reduce noise, and deliver actionable insight for engineers and business stakeholders across the full observability stack.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in SRE or observability roles, hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog/New Relic/Splunk, and strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry, CI/CD, and Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Five or more years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or observability roles.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and at least one major commercial observability platform.
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and structured logging.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience operating high-throughput metrics/log pipelines.
• Knowledge of SLOs, error budgets, and SRE principles.
• Experience integrating observability with CI/CD and incident management.
