Job summary

Lodestar is seeking an experienced workers' compensation claims professional licensed in New York to handle complex, litigated cases. You will assess claims, formulate strategies, and work to achieve prompt, fair outcomes while maintaining service excellence for internal and external partners.

You will partner with claims management, defense counsel, and vendors, maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring accurate reserves, settlements, and diary management across the lifecycle of each claim.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience handling New York complex workers' compensation claims.
• New York license required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and litigation management skills.
• Proficient in claims handling practices and regulatory requirements.
