Job summary

Stepful, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN educator to join our virtual didactic team for the Ohio nursing program. You will deliver synchronous online didactic sessions in maternal health and pediatrics, supporting students toward licensure.

The role requires RN teaching experience, an MSN, and an Ohio RN license, with flexible, remote scheduling and 1099 contract terms. Collaboration with faculty and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of faculty experience in an RN or LPN education program.
• Specialty clinical experience in pediatrics, obstetrics, mental health and/or maternal health.
• 5+ years of varied nursing experience across clinical practice, nursing education, and/or administration.
• MSN degree required.
• Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live virtual instruction — teach synchronous didactic sessions in maternal health and pediatrics via Stepful’s online learning platform.
• Engage and support students — facilitate active learning, answer questions in real time, and foster a positive virtual classroom environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert — bring maternal health and pediatrics knowledge into the classroom to prepare students for licensure.
• Provide timely feedback — grade assignments and return constructive feedback to support student progress.
