Job summary

Ascend Learning, LLC is hiring an Educator for Nursing Success to provide remote, part-time one-on-one online guidance to entry-level nursing students. You will support students in math, science, English and reading while familiarizing yourself with ATI products and solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Education with teaching certification (or a Nursing master’s) and have at least 2 years of online teaching experience; strong communication and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Master’s or higher degree in education with teaching certification (preferred).
Master’s or higher degree in Nursing (considered).
Knowledge at secondary education level of math, science (including anatomy and physiology), English and reading.
Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience; 5+ years preferred.
Experience teaching online and communicating professionally in an online environment.
Ability to work remotely from a home office and navigate online platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one instruction using a distance learning platform to support entry-level nursing students.
Learn and maintain understanding of ATI products and solutions to assist customers.
Interpret participant outcomes and adapt guidance accordingly.
Deliver high-quality support in an online, asynchronous environment.
Collaborate with faculty to promote excellence in delivery and discuss student outcomes.
Offer scheduled virtual student office hours, weekly.
