Job summary

The Nurse Triage Registered Nurse is a practitioner who assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for a defined patient group within Froedtert and MCW Patient Engagement Center. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient education, test result management, and coordinating care needs with strong customer-focused communication.

Requires two years of clinical nursing, RN licensure in Wisconsin, BLS, Epic Nurse Triage experience and strong multitasking abilities; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical experience required.
• One year RN experience or nursing student rotation may be considered.
• Three to five years of clinical nursing in applicable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a patient group within the engagement center.
• Triage via telephone, provide patient education, and manage test results.
• Coordinate care needs, medication refills, and other clinical tasks.
