Fonemed seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a virtual care position in Canada. You will assess patients via telephone and video, diagnose, prescribe, and manage follow-up care within scope, collaborating with a team to deliver holistic telehealth services.

You will work from home with flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle while maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety across North America.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• FAA (Family All Ages) is required; rural practice experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and care in a virtual clinic environment.
• Diagnose, prescribe, and order or perform diagnostic tests within scope.
• Coordinate treatment plans and follow up with clients and families.
• Communicate findings to clients and interdisciplinary team; document in health records.
• Advocate for clients and refer to appropriate care providers.
• Follow best practice guidelines and maintain professional standards.
