Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Quality Assurance Manager Energy – Remote to lead the QA program for nuclear projects based from Oak Ridge, TN. You will ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, and regulatory requirements while directing QA/QC staff and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams.

You will oversee audits, supplier qualification, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining strong communication with regulators and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field is required.
• Ten years of QA oversight experience in Commercial Nuclear industry.
• Experience with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NRC RG 1.28, NQA-1.
• Strong verbal and written communication; problem solving.
• Ability to manage QA activities for a discipline or project daily.
• Knowledge of QA systems, corrective actions and supplier qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and maintain the QA program for nuclear projects.
• Oversee audits, supplier qualification, corrective actions, and improvements.
• Provide guidance and training to QA/QC staff and ensure compliance with codes.
• Review contracts to identify QA requirements and prepare QA plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management for life-cycle quality.
• Interface with regulators and auditors to demonstrate program compliance.
