Job summary

Mainz Brady Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through production. The role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to develop sourcing strategies, manage suppliers, and ensure material readiness for EVT, DVT, PVT, and production launch.

You will lead sourcing activities, manage RFQs and supplier negotiations, and collaborate on BOMs and component sourcing while mitigating supply chain risks and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3–5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or NPI supply chain experience.
• Experience with EVT/DVT/PVT, BOMs, manufacturing, RFQs, and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for NPI programs.
• Manage RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and cost modeling.
• Partner with Engineering on BOMs, drawings, and component sourcing.
• Ensure supplier and material readiness through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production.
• Identify supply chain risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Support ERP/MRP planning and cross-functional program execution.
