Job summary

RWS – TrainAI is seeking contributors to record spontaneous Norwegian Nynorsk speech for AI data collection. You will capture natural speech from real-life conversations and annotate recordings for quality and usability.

This freelance, remote role offers a flexible schedule (approximately 2–4 hours daily) with prompt payments and exposure to cutting-edge AI research and language technology projects.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Norwegian Nynorsk.
• Authentic pronunciation and familiarity with the language through everyday use.
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents not their own.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines.
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions.
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided.
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
