Job summary

Non Profit Capital Management, LLC is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead the bookkeeping and financial oversight for multiple nonprofit clients. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, compliance with nonprofit standards, and clear communication with client leadership.

You will supervise staff accountants, coordinate close processes, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for boards and committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree or CPA is strongly preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit financial reporting and public accounting is preferred.
• Experience with 990s is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel; strong GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead client accounting and financial oversight for multiple nonprofit clients.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, FASB nonprofit standards, and fund accounting.
• Maintain and review restricted and unrestricted fund tracking.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, dashboards, and variance analyses.
• Present financial reports to client leadership, boards, and finance committees.
