Cedarstone is seeking a diligent Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. This full-time role supports multiple nonprofit clients with day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations through GL maintenance, closes, reconciliations, and robust reporting.

You will assist with audits and Form 990 filings, onboard new clients, and provide clear financial guidance to leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Pivot tables, vlookup, modeling).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger maintenance and monthly closings.
• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
• Execute AP/AR reconciliations.
• Produce timely financial packages and board reports.
• Support annual audits and Form 990 filings.
• Assist with client onboarding and provide actionable financial guidance.
